Their efficient, modern design gives you a 90% clear opening compared to more traditional choices such as two-panel patio doors - which only offer a 40% opening.

Thermal barrier technology. We know you'll want to select your bi-folds carefully. That's why ours contain the latest in polyamide profile technology, which creates a 'heavy-duty' thermal barrier between the cold outside and the warm inside - helping to dramatically reduce energy bills in your home.

A selection of colours. With a wide range of colour options and finishes available, we are able to individually create your exact colour choice to compliment your home's character. We can even incorporate openers to maximize ventilation, as well as complete your Lantern Roof with decorative finishes for the ultimate in aesthetic appeal.

Thermostat technology. We can combine thermostat systems together with electronic openers, to automatically control the temperature inside your home. Ambient climate sensors constantly monitor the volume of available heat around you, and then precisely control the amount needed to open and close openers to maintain the perfect temperature you've selected.

Self-cleaning glass. We're also able to finish your Lantern Roof with a choice of high-performance glass systems. The combination of both solar reflective and self-cleaning properties, effectively manage excessive heat build up and discharge surface dirt and grime to offer an ideal year-round, hassle free installation.

Rain sensor technology. Don't think we've forgotten about the wet either; your Lantern Roof knows when it's raining and when it's not and will automatically close all windows and vents whether you're out shopping, or immersed in your favourite film on the sofa. 13,000 square feet of craftsmanship.

Cardiff Glass operates from two bases in the heart of Cardiff city. Whilst you already know about our showroom, manufacturing takes place at our 13,000 square foot factory which is capable of producing a variety of profiles in both aluminium and PVC. This large production capability means we are able to take on any project, from large developments to small residential jobs. We enjoy longstanding client relationships with architects, national house builders, main contractors and local authorities.

Commercial expertise. Our team includes structural engineers, architects, window specialists, glass experts and builders - all of whom are at your disposal at the consultation, design and planning stages. Our installation teams are trained to fit and finish the job in accordance to contract specifications, and to maintain close liason with project co-ordinators.

Schüco, Senior and Comar approved. We have access to several world-renowned systems, and as such Cardiff Glass is perfectly placed so design, manufacture and install a comprehensive selection of aluminium products from shop front entrances with revolving doors, through to bespoke roof atriums and high-rise curtain wall systems.

PVC in a spectrum of colours. We have the facilities to acryllic-coat white frames to any colour contained within the industry's RAL spectrum. And if you need it, we also supply the industry's standardized foil products such as rosewood and light oak finish - both of which are available with the foiled veneer to both surfaces, or alternatively on just the one.

We're capable of dual-colour, too. If you're looking for finishes to compliment the interior and exterior surfaces of your build, we can apply separate colours inside and out on both aluminium and PVC structures.
